Ambar takes data privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, why, and how it's protected. Plain English, no lawyer-speak — if anything's unclear, ask us.

What we collect

• Account info: name, phone number, email used to sign up.
• Business data: the ledgers, items, vouchers, and stock you record in your org.
• Usage: minimal logs to keep the service running and to debug issues.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to third parties. Ever.
• We don't use your business data to train AI models.
• We don't run ads.

How it's protected

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• Daily encrypted backups, with a 30-day retention window.
• Access is multi-tenant — every query is scoped to your org id.

Your rights

You can export your data anytime and delete your org permanently with a click. We'll also delete on request — email privacy@ambar.app.

Changes

If we ever change this page in a meaningful way, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
